so its been awhile...

Like years. Honestly, my intentions are good but follow through can use some encouragement! There is some crazy sh** going on these days. Politically, fam oriented, general humanity, crazy fraud and man the road rage is intense.

But I want to focus, so lets try that hat, today its meant to be skin care. We are aging, and menopausing, and all that jazz. Things are changing wildly, uncontrollably and otherwise. So I wanted to address tallow specifically today. I have men and women discussing this "new" but old umm system? Great reviews in general and I wanted to try it myself. I have ordered some to try, organic, grass fed, Ontario created tallow. I have struggled to be honest, had a recommendation for Based Supplies so I tried to order. It did not go well sadly. They claim to be full Ontario based, went through the order and it ended up in USD! I didn't realize bc the letters were so tiny and they pushed so hard their Ontario status I disregarded detail. Saw my Visa bill and kinda freaked. So i emailed them and just said, hey, I'm curious, why the US billing? They responded stating it was an issue with their merchant and they were working on it. I thought it was odd but hey, Canadian merchants can be costly so I replied with an, OK, can't wait to try these products, they come highly recommended.

To my surprise, the next day, my order had been cancelled. So again I emailed asking why. response was that my purchase had raised fraud flags so I had to send photo ID with address verification. I thought it was odd so I didn't, and started to dig a bit. I quite truthfully don't even think this company is real. Their address is a PO box at Can Post. and the other listed on their order reply email was a high rise in TO that actually doesn't list them as a leaser. Anyways, long story short, I lost $15 cnd due to exchange and I am not happy about it.

I have moved on after contacting my bank and chalked it up to consumer ignorance unfortunately. I am now awaiting an order order from Healing Haven out of London, ON. I will hopefully have some follow up in the next couple weeks. I really want to try this tallow balm...and I want to support Canadian! Stay tuned...
